SaveMIHeart (SMH) is preparing for the 5th annual conference and is seeking proposals from organizations that demonstrate local quality initiatives that have had a positive impact towards improving cardiac arrest process of care or survival.


Each proposal will be reviewed and selected by the SMH conference committee.  Successful proposals will be recognized for their work and a member of the local community / organization will be invited to present their quality initiative during this year’s SMH conference.  There will be 2-4 oral presentations selected.  If your project does not get selected as an oral presentation, you may be offered an option to prepare a poster that will be displayed during the conference.  Each of the selected application (oral or poster) will receive one free registration to this year’s SMH conference.  Each oral presentation will be 10 minutes followed by 5 minutes of Q & A. 




•    Organization located within the State of Michigan

•    Initiative must measurably improve process of care or outcomes for cardiac arrest

•    Agree to present in person at SMH conference

•    Agree to submit Powerpoint presentation or poster layout by April 5, 2019
