On Friday, October 19, 2018 a celebration of another lifesaving year of the American Heart Association was held at the Jack Roth Stadium Club.  This year's Arbor – Jackson Heart Ball was chaired by Dr. Robert Neumar.

The evenings guests honored Dr. Robert Bartlett, Amanda Sweetman, and Dr. Bo Yang for their tireless work furthering the lifesaving mission of the American Heart Association and to build longer, healthier lives.

In Jackson and Washtenaw Counties, there were a total of 390 sudden cardiac arrests last year; sadly, only 34 people survived.  By the end of the evening, six CPR in Schools Kits were donated and a total of $102,000 was raised for the AHA mission.

The evening continued after the ball with the Pulse After Party, where guests enjoyed the entertainment of dueling pianos, vintage carnival games, and Knockerball on the U of M football field with access to the locker room.
